A place for a cheap, good meal

If you’re looking for cheap and good food, for some quality bonding time with friends after school, this is the place for you! Focaccia Cafe has a wide range of meals to satisfy your after-school cravings, especially if your hunger level is bursting the scale. Everything is at a student-friendly price, so if you spent extra on that ice cream on Monday, you’ll still be able to get the food you need to survive the rest of the day.

When we visited, we ordered a simple spaghetti bolognese, chicken baked rice, as well as beef stew with rice.

The food itself was not exceptionally good, but was worth the price. Each dish was approximately $5. Foccacia cafe also has seasonal promotions, so be sure to check them out, to get the best deals.

Accessibility: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

The shop is located in Ayer Raja Community centre and it is relatively easy to find. You can get there either by car, or if you’re not yet driving, you can take bus 79, from Boon Lay bus interchange, to the bus stop outside German Centre. Once you get there, cross the overhead bridge to the other side, and take bus 51, all the way until the bus stop outside Ayer Raja Community Centre. Though google maps tells you that it is about 20 or so stops away from Boon Lay bus interchange, the journey is actually rather short. :-)

Overall, the place is relatively quiet and clean, suitable for a short meal after school with your friends, if your school is nearby. Be sure to check them out, to enjoy meals that are both affordable and good! Also, do keep a look out for their student promotions, so that you can spend less on your lunch and more on that new pair of jeans you were eyeing!
